Do you find yourself confused by the stock price/value conundrum? What even is this? It is the focus on the price of the stock when trying to gauge is it a good investment? People often equate low price with cheap/good investment. This may not be true.
There are other costs involved with trading stocks. I think it is worth thinking about the transaction costs when it comes to trading shares, *if* you are thinking about buying a small number of shares at a low price per share then the transaction cost (the fee for trading) may eat into your capital to invest. As a data point in the UK, you may pay up to (10 GBP) $12 for a single trade.
Does this mean if your trading fee is very low the low priced stock is worth buying? Again, not necessarily so. Another tact for your research may be to look at stocks that have a low valuation and an indication of potential future profit potential independently of the absolute value of the stock. While I’m not necessarily suggesting Apple is such a stock, there has been a lot of interest around it and you should be able to find lots of views online about its value good/bad as a stock which may help pick out strategies that you can apply to calculate the value other stocks.
Ultimately, the future potential value of a stock is rarely a certain thing and this is why it is important to research the stock, the market conditions, and the industry carefully before considering buying. These steps are essential education in order to answer the stock price/value conundrum. Finally, never spend money on buying stocks you cannot afford to lose, stocks and shares are a risky investment.
